Chester Bible Focus came into being in 1992 as a result of several evangelical ministers and church leaders expressing a common concern and deep desire to bring Bible Exposition to Christians living within easy reach of Chester.

The aim is to provide a short, but in depth series of Bible Expositions given by noted speakers, normally over a Tuesday and Wednesday evening in the Spring and the Autumn. The expositions will be unashamedly ambitious, whilst at the same time relating and applying God’s Word to our lives for today’s world.

Typically the evening will begin with a short time of musical worship, followed by two presentations with an interval for refreshments. At the end there is opportunity for questions.

A list of previous speakers can be found here.

A charge is made of £3 per night, or £5 for 2 nights. The meetings start at 7:30 p.m. and the usual venue is All Saints Church, Hoole, but see the details for each event as this may vary.

The members of the organising committee are: Norman Goodwin, John Kirkland, Rob Peters, Phil Roberts (Treasurer), Kate Tabb & Colin Waker.
